Please share this, vote for my video & help me win my dream job!
Great interview on the Manti situation.
Also, great Blog Roll on the page.
If Ivan Rodriguez’s nickname was PUDGE then Pablo Sandoval being called PANDA is extremely nice.
I like to use a note card (3x5) and use a code to remember a line, paragraph, tidbit that I enjoyed/learned from.
11 - page number
p - paragraph (use numbers for the paragraph on the page) \
word … word - the beginning word & last word to later transcribe
Not much of a code but this is what my cards look like:
TITLE OF BOOK
22 p3 - While they……. had to stop.
Try to learn from everything.
What a whirlwind of the last three days.
I have officially applied for the Xfinity Sports Social Media Dream Job.
I worked hard on my script (changed it with three different concept and five rewrites).
I had an amazing wife help me film and critique me along the way.
I had great friends provide a venue which resembled a press conference room and were patient with my filming.
The original footage (filmed Saturday morning) was found out to be unusable and we had an emergency reshoot Sunday evening.
This reshoot was after we picked up my dad from the airport, made an emergency trip to Target for a backdrop (black drapes), and threw together a set by rearranging the kitchen in our apartment.
We filmed the podium shoots again and it was a much better turnout than my original takes (better energy ((Dad was a great help in challenging me there)) and focus by the camera).
Then edited the package to piece together something under two minutes and 30 seconds. A really hard thing to do when you devote yourself to a script you are proud of and don’t want to omit any material.
Well things got cut, the video came together, and it seemed so complete.
But little did we know…
The uploading issue took multiple hours and an alternative computer to work. I spoke with three separate IT customer service representatives to try and rectify this problem, but to no such luck.
Rachael saved the day, uploaded my info, video, and tweet - clicked - applied - done.
I am so blessed to have this opportunity, so many great supporters wife/family/friends, and I am praying for this to be in His plans for us.
Time will tell with the selection of the top ten candidates. I will wait patiently, sleep heavily, and pray hard on this.
I am just thankful for the opportunity.
Can you name a male dog Lolo? This is a good one.
If more come to mind I will post…
Rachael & I took a dog personality quiz on Animal Planet’s website:
Why is this significant?
Growing up we had two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers (Beauty Bell and Sugar —- I know, Beauty Bell?) and I’d love to have that breed for us one day.
But, we are in an apartment with no room for a dog to be outside and roam. When we move into a house we will have a back yard, a fence, and a puppy!
I cannot wait….. Until then.
I see a little bit of Isaac (Barbershop & Barbershop 2) in the barber on the Lebron James Samsung Galaxy Note II commercial. Great song in the commercial - Keep on Pushing by The Impressions.
(Insert hairline/headband joke here)
